WoodBows is a virtual assistant company with staff in the United States, the Philippines, and India. Founded in 2015. The pricing and service mix is broad enough that it covers most use cases, but the leadership story is where things get strange — read on.

WoodBows runs the standard four service lines:

Who actually runs this company?

This is where I keep getting stuck. WoodBows is registered as VA Services Pro, LLC in Delaware. Beyond that filing, public information about the leadership is murky.

The About page introduces the founder as “John,” no last name. The Team page names Mario Suntar as CEO. Two pages on the same site, two different people at the top.

Then there’s the Triniter issue — a separate VA company that uses overlapping branding and a near-identical “John” profile.

And third-party sites like Virtual Assistant Assistant name Joanna Finch as the founder, which is a third name in three sources.

None of this is proof of anything bad on its own. But when a vendor selling you a long-term staffing relationship can’t keep their own founder story straight across two pages of their own website, that’s a signal worth weighing.

Triniter

Triniter and WoodBows look like they share leadership and overlap on reviews. I haven’t been able to confirm whether they’re the same company under two brands, a rebrand in progress, or something else. Until that’s clearer, treat them as connected.

Office-based operations

Like WishUp, WoodBows runs physical offices in India and the Philippines with staff working US business hours. If you specifically want overlap with a US workday, that’s a useful detail.

Data handling

🚩 Several case studies on the WoodBows site show screenshots that appear to contain personal information that may not have been redacted. I’d want clarification on this before sending anything sensitive their way.

Final take

The pricing is competitive and the offshore operation is real. The problem is upstream of all that: I can’t tell you with confidence who runs this company, and the data-handling examples on their own marketing site make me cautious. If you’re willing to trade some transparency for the price point, fine. If “who am I actually contracting with” matters to you — and for VA work it usually should — there are cleaner options on the list.
